Eksjö Camping is run by the non-profit association Eksjö Camping & Conference with subsidiary Kom Till Festen, which is an association with Christian signs. The association's primary goal is not to run a business, but to exist so that all people who visit us will have the chance, through their own active choice, to hear the good news about Jesus Christ.

We currently use three brands for our guests;

Eksjö Camping & Conference deals all year round with the rental of camping sites, cabins and the hostel Hotellträdgården. During the summer season, we also rent out fishing boats, pedal boats, canoes, bicycles, pedal cars and clubs for our adventure golf course, we also sell tickets for our tourist train Kulturen which runs guided tours in Eksjö Old Town.

Under Eken Bistro & Catering serves food for both everyday life and parties all year round, and during the summer Under Eken's summer café is open to the public May-August.

Kom Till Festen is our big summer program for all ages, including children's matinees, concerts, devotionals and church services.

​

All year round we currently have 7 employees and during the high season we also have the help of around 40 summer employees, our turnover is just over SEK 10 million and during the year we have visitors from both the local area and the rest of Europe. 

​

We are now looking for an employee at 100% all year round who can help with a little bit of everything but with an emphasis on reception, cleaning and janitorial. You do not need to have previous experience in similar tasks, but you need the ability to meet guests and give everything you have to make them happy. Some musts are, however, that you have computer skills as we work with many different booking systems, that you have command of the Swedish language in speech and writing, that you can speak English and a big advantage is if you can also speak German. You also need to have a B driving license and it is an advantage if you also have a C or D driving license to drive our tourist train. You do not need to have previously worked professionally with either reception, cleaning or janitorial services, but you do need to be ambitious when it comes to keeping everything from bookings, cottage cleaning and sorting rubbish in order. For most, the campsite is known for its good order and that everything should flow smoothly for those who visit us.

As on-call activities are included in the duties, you cannot live too far from Eksjö, as you must be prepared to turn up at short notice.

As it is a Christian association that runs the facility, you also need to share the association's values and direction, which are the basis for all our work.

​

At the facility, we have a low staff turnover, which shows that those who work for us enjoy their tasks and their team, and we also want you who come in to stay with us for a longer period of time, as the various tasks require a lot of introduction if you not previously worked in a similar way. We believe that you, the applicant, like a challenging, fast-paced job with irregular hours that will eventually become more of a lifestyle than a regular job. Welcome to the gang!
